Top 10 ODI Batsman in India | ODI Cricket Records:- ODI is the One Day International form of limited-overs cricket played between two teams with international status. Each team faces a fixed number of overs, currently 50, with the game lasting up to 8hrs. The cricket world cup, generally held every four hours, is played in this format. One-day international matches are also called Limited overs internationally.

No.1 Sachin Tendulkar

A bit obvious name start. You can’t compile a list of best batsmen and not include the Master Blaster. He is the Best Batsmen of all time and also known as a legendary player. Tendulkar was the backbone of the Indian ODI team for over 20 years. The highest run-scorer in the format, the most ODI hundreds and fifties, the first person to score an ODI double hundred. His memorable 98 runs against Pakistan in the world cup are still fresh in the memories of fans worldwide.

Virat Kohli breaks the records of all-time legend Sachin Tendulkar by scoring 11000 fastest runs. Virat Kohli also wins three-time ICC player of the year awards in 2012, 2017, 2018.

His finishing matches by hitting huge sixes with helicopter shots have made him a cult figure globally. The most famous of his match-winning sixes came in the 2011 World Cup Final. Dhoni’s record of more than 10000 runs at an average of more than 50 shows his remarkable consistency and capability.

He ranks 17th in ICC ODI ranking in the world.

KL Rahul was born on 18 April 1992 in Bengaluru. Rahul made his ODI debut against Zimbabwe at Harare Sports Club on June 11, 2016. He became the first Indian to score an ODI century on debut and helped India win the match by 9 wickets. Rahul has so far scored 317 runs in 13 matches. KL Rahul is one of the 15 players who have been named in India to play the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 in England and Wales.

He became the fourth Indian to be named player of the match on his ODI debut. In the group stages of the ICC Champions Trophy, Pandya hit three consecutive sixes off Imad Wasim. In April 2019, he was named to India’s squad for the 2019 Cricket World Cup. He was selected in the ODI XI of the year 2017 By Cricinfo.

Yuvraj Singh was born on 12 December 1981. Yuvraj played his first test match in October 2003. He was the vice-captain of the Indian ODI team between 2007 and 2008. He was the man of the tournament in the 2011 ICC cricket world cup and one of the top performers at the 2007 ICC world T20, BOTH of which India won. In a match against England at the 2007 world T20, He famously hit six sixes in one over-bowl by Stuart Broad. He set the record for the fastest fifty in twenty20 internationals and all t 20 cricket, reaching 50 runs in 12 balls. In 2012, Yuvraj was conferred with the Arjuna Award.

Virender Sehwag was born on 20 October 1978 .He played his first ODI in 1999 and joined the Indian test side in 2001. In April 2009, Sehwag became the first Indian to be honoured as the  Wisden leading cricketer in the world for his performance in 2008. he became the second batsman after Sachin Tendulkar to breach 200 runs in ODI. Sehwag was appointed as vice-captain of the Indian team under Rahul Dravid in October 2005.  On 31 October 2017, Delhi and district cricket association DDCA honoured Sehwag by naming gate no.2 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium after him.
