He is the youngest man ever to score 30 points in a match. He also has a record of hitting seven aces in a single game with a match against Bulgaria in June 2019 in VNL. He was also the key performer of the 2018 match against Italy to get a win after 11 years where he scored 24 points in the match.

While playing for the national team he won 8 South American Championships, 8 World League, 3 World Championships, one gold in 2004 Summer Olympics one silver in Beijing Olympics, and London Olympics where he was the captain of the team. He retired from professional volleyball in 2014 at the age of 37. He is married to a former international volleyball player and has two children together and currently, he is dating Maria Luiza Dautt.
