But he gets his first breakthrough in his fifth ODI match of the series where he scored 148 off 123 deliveries and continued the good foam in the next match against Sri Lanka where he scores an unbeaten 183 off145 and was awarded as man of the series and stopped ever since.

Retirement from International cricket:- Dhoni announced his retirement from every international format on 15 August 2020 by posting a video on his Instagram account with the famous song Mai Pal Do Pal Ka Shayar  Hoon and was nominated for the cricketer of the Decade in November 2020.
